Weddings at Prairie Street Brewhouse

Originally built as the Peacock Brewery in the 1850s, the Prairie Street Brewhouse currently features a beautiful event space, a 60-slip marina with fuel, loft-style apartments, a brewery, a restaurant and offices.

Scott and Jodie got married at the Brewhouse

A wedding venue like no other.

The Prairie Street Brewhouse is perfectly equipped to handle your special day. Whether it's just your reception, or your ceremony and reception, or even a small private gathering of family and friends for an intimate ceremony, we would love to be your host.

We have three beautiful rooms that comprise our event space. The Barrel Room is our main room with 6000 square feet where can seat up to 300 people at tables. The ceiling is adorned with more than 80 dimmable paper lanterns, there is gorgeous custom ironwork surrounding the upper level and gorgeous indirect natural light fills the room through the huge windows during the day.

The adjacent Malt Room is a flexible space with large timber posts and beams. The Malt Room is 1500 square feet and can host your ceremony (up to 150 people in rows) or provide a number of other uses.

The Ice Cellar is our lower level and features our gorgeous new bar with a copper counter and front that is lit and resembles the blocks of ice that used to be kept here for brewing beer before there was mechanical refrigeration. Walk out the Ice Cellar doors onto our huge deck area right on the water. We've seen some amazing ceremonies on the deck and we've had wedding parties (and sometimes even guests) arrive by boat. The deck and Ice Cellar are a great place for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before your dinner is served.
